Agreeing to these terms

These terms cover your use of the Bedrock Spring Valley Concrete Coatings website, starting from our home page, and any estimate, service or work you get from us. By using the site, calling us or booking a job, you agree to them.

If you don't agree, please don't use the site. If something here isn't clear, call us at (619) 648-8003 before you book and we'll walk you through it.

What we do

We're a flooring contractor in Spring Valley, CA. We coat, polish, stain, grind, seal and resurface concrete floors for homes and businesses in Spring Valley and the cities around it. You can read more about our crew and how we work on our About page.

The service descriptions on this site are general. The exact scope of your job is what's written in your estimate or contract, so if the two ever differ, the paperwork for your job wins. Bedrock Spring Valley Concrete Coatings is fully licensed and insured.

Estimates and pricing

Estimates are free and done on site, with no obligation, because we need to see the slab before we can price it. Your estimate is based on what we can see that day, including the size of the area, the condition of the concrete and the system you pick.

Some problems only show up once the old coating is off or grinding starts, such as moisture in the slab, hidden cracks or a sealer that won't come up. If that happens, we'll stop, show you what we found and agree with you in writing on any change in price before we do the added work.

An estimate holds for the period written on it. After that, we may need to recheck prices before we start.

Scheduling and cancellation

We set a start date with you once you accept the estimate. Dates can move because of weather, humidity, temperature, material delivery or an earlier job running long, since coatings need the right conditions to bond and cure. If we have to move your date, we'll tell you as soon as we know.

If you need to reschedule or cancel, please give us as much notice as you can by calling (619) 648-8003. If you cancel after we've ordered materials for your job, you may owe for materials we can't return, unless your contract says otherwise. Nothing in these terms limits any cancellation right the law gives you.

Your part of the job

On the work days, we need access to the area, power and water if your contract calls for them, and the floor cleared of vehicles, furniture and stored items unless we've agreed to move them. Please tell us about anything you already know about the slab, like past leaks, old coatings or cracks, because it changes how we prep.

A new floor needs time to cure before people, pets, furniture or vehicles go on it, and we'll tell you how long for your system. We aren't responsible for damage caused by using the floor before we say it's ready.

Payment terms

Any deposit, progress payments and the date the balance is due are written in your estimate or contract, and any deposit we ask for will follow California law. We'll tell you which payment methods we take before the job starts.

If a payment goes unpaid, we may pause work until it's settled, and we may use the collection and lien rights California law allows.

Warranty and our satisfaction guarantee

Our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. If something about your finished floor isn't right, call us and we'll come back and look at it with you.

Any written warranty on workmanship is the one in your contract. Coating and material warranties come from the maker, not from us, and they usually depend on following the maker's care instructions.

No warranty covers damage from impact, misuse, chemicals the coating isn't rated for, moisture problems in the slab that weren't known when we started, or skipping the care steps we give you. Apart from what's written in your contract, and as far as the law allows, our work and this website come as is, without other warranties, express or implied.

Limits on our liability

As far as the law allows, Bedrock Spring Valley Concrete Coatings isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, such as lost business or lost use of a space while a floor cures. Our total liability on any job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.

Nothing here limits liability that California law doesn't allow us to limit.

Using this website

The information on this site is general and isn't advice for your particular floor, so please rely on your on-site estimate for that. We may update the site at any time and can't promise it will always be available or free of errors.

If we link to another website, we don't control it and aren't responsible for what it says. You agree not to misuse the site, copy its content for commercial use or try to interfere with how it runs.

Settling a disagreement

If you have a problem with our work or a bill, call us first, because most things get settled faster in a conversation at the job. If we can't settle it that way, we both agree to try mediation in San Diego County before going to court.

Either of us can still take a claim to small claims court if that court can hear it.

Governing law

These terms and any job we do are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any case that goes to court will be heard in the state or federal courts serving San Diego County, California.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page is the one that applies when you use the site. A signed contract for your job keeps the terms that were in it when you signed.

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
